Default servo off power?

Hi,
When no power to the high torque servo(over 300 oz) , the servo arm should move easily by hand or hardly move it?
Thanx!

If you have a ~3/4" servo arm on it, it will be a little stiff getting it turning but easy once the geartrain is moving.
If it is really tight, the servo arm may be binding on the case or you may have an internal issue.

Let us know what you find out.

I put a new aluminum servo arm on a HiTec 7980, it suddenly "lost torque". What I found was that the servo shaft pocket in the arm was deeper than the other ones I had. When the arm was mounted, the bottom of the arm was rubbing the plastic around the shaft causing a bind which also made it hard to move the servo arm with everything else disconnected.
I felt happy/foolish once I figured it out.
