Default Brushless sticky?

So I looked in the sticky but noticed that it hasn't really been updated with a thread about brushless other than the outrunner but even then it doesn't go to much in-depth of it, could holmes or somebody update it or make a new one with a bit more in-depth and pics of them cuz I'm trying to explain to my girlfriend about them but even reading it, I'm still having trouble explaining it lol

What parts in particular do you think need additions?

Maybe more updated info on newer brushless, what's the difference between a outrunner and the normal brushless motors, also pics would help lol being a visual helps to understand and I notice pics are gone or something. Maybe how the brushless motors work because I couldn't find that. Only about how the outrunner performs better than brushed lol
