Default No drag brake in reverse!

I have a mongoose in my 1.9, and I can not get the drag brake to work in reverse. I have tried to rebind, reset the esc, and nothing seems to work. I would appreciate any help on this.

Drag brake is brake applied when off throttle, so why would it work while in reverse?

Im guessing he means that when the truck is rolling backwards it doesnt drag as much.

Have you recalibrated the esc?

That is always the first step.

i might not know what im talking about. but my losi lnc will hold its position and not roll forward or bakwards when throttle is not applied. my mini however, when i go forward and then release the rig stops, but when i go reverse and then release the rig rolls to a stop. so by calling that drag brake i might be mistaken. I dont think it should just roll to a stop in reverse. when im on an incline it will hold pretty good nose down, but nose up if im not on the throttle it will very easily roll backwards.

My bet is that, if drag brake works in one direction but not the other:
1-The ESC/ESC's are not correctly set to the RX
2-The radio trims were not set to "0", but a small change was made later

If the rig electronics were set up correctly, drag brake should be equal in both directions.

Period.

Recalibrate and let us know how that goes...

Do I set everything to o then rebind or set everythong at 0 and reset the esc?

I also have a mongoose system and a DX3E remote. This happens to me all the time. The nuetal is a very fine adjustment, Adjust your throttle trim dial and at the same time look at the lights on your ESC, you need to get all three lights lit. Then you should have drag brake foward and reverse. Again it is a very fine adjustment and I have to mess with it often. What radio are you using?

Typically set the throttle trim & subtrim to "0", throttle EPA to 100%, then recalibrate the ESC to the RX.
Try from there.

Sounds like TEDBULL may have some ideas as well.

I have the gt3b. And I'm running a brushed motor. So the blue and amber are lit up right now. So what you are telling me is no esc reset or rebinding, just simply adjust my throttle trim until I have a third light come on.

It's easy to find out. Just adjust your throttle trim untill you have drag both ways. If that doesn't work put everything to neutral and recalibrate the radio and esc.
