Default Trouble charging new Hyperion 3s 850mah lipo

I just bought a couple of Hyperion batteries and cant get any of them to charge. Im using a Thunder T6 charger and have never had a problem with it until now. The only thing that i could think of was that the balance plugs where different between my zippy lipos and the hyperions. The plug doesnt fit in the normal 3s lipo spot, but instead it fits in the 4s slot. Went a head and tried to charge it, but it keeps showing up with an error after charging for atleast 5 seconds.

Please help me out...

U need a hyperion to align adapter. Its reading your pack as a 4s w a bad cell. It needs to be in 3s slot to charge correctly.

You can charge wo balance for a couple of charges till you get your adapter.

I went to my LHS and bought a couple of Align connector kits and converted my balance plugs to what I needed for my Venom Pro Charger. Now that I know what I need, I order them with the correct balance plug already installed from CheapBatteryPacks.com.

Converting the connector is not hard with minimal tools, just remember to do a single wire at a time since they ARE connected direct to each cell.

1-I didn't find a ton of info that USED to be on the CBP site....is it back???!!! I used to link it all the time to answer many battery questions as well as direct a potential customer to your site....sigh.....
2-I've suggested before (since I spend a number of $$ there) that CBP provide pictures & dimensions so "sorta informed" hobbiests can figure out what LiPO balance connections they have. (My 1st 3 LiPO packs had a balance plug that didn't fit my charger, I learned the hard way & bought parts @ my LHS to correct my mistake.....)
