| Heated grips
Anyone interested in heated radio grips? I ask because i've noticed, that when i get a radio in the mail and its been in the sun heating up, it seems much more comfortable than a cold/room temp grip. So i was thinking of a heating element that will warm up the handle...also be nice fore sub zero crawling |

My idea is to shove it on the inside of the handle, so it doesn't make it any more bulkier...although efficiency may be an issue. I'm thinking of ATV or snow mobile grips, but flexible ones, all the ones i've seen arn't | |

| No...i don't plan on selling these, to much liability, and cost to much in general. Just wondering how many people are interested as it may affect how i add something like this to mine. I'm tempted to just replace the handle all together

There are a few that have heating elements that mount to the handlebar and the grip slides over the element then just wired to a 12v power source. I think Oxford makes the ones Im thinking of and any motorcycle shop that offers stuff from Parts Unlimited can get them for you. The heated jacket liner that I use on the motorcycle when the temp gets cold has a 14v lipo pack that I use when Im not on the bike. It usually last about 4-5 hrs depending on how long I leave it on becuase I usually dont leave it on constantly. It's a nice weight material that goes good as a light jacket if used alone and it's thin enough to go under most jackets comfortably. Any motorcycle shop that offers stuff from Parts Unlimited can get you one. It's made by Exo2 and it's their Stormwalker jacket liner |

Curious how you plan on powering the heated grips. They draw a fair amount of current. There are heaters that fit under the grips of snocat size grips. Usually a sticky backed flexible panel, about 3"x4". |
