I've got multiple controlers that came with my wk. Fm futabas and am traxxas . Is there a better choice and why

Neither, go for 2.4ghz if you can. Both AM & FM can be screwed by radio interference from outside sources. This can be "other than RC" radios or other RC radios. Going to 2.4ghz "almost" eliminates radio interference.  Plus, the newer radios have a ton of options (depending on the radio) that the AM/FM radios don't have.  |
