Esc ?????

I just picked up a TEKIN T35 Pro brushed motor for my Honcho. The truck is used mainly for trail running and playing arround at our local Crawler Coarse, no real serious rock crawling. I intend to run a 1500 mAh 3S 30C lipo and I have two ESC's at my disposal a Novak Goat 3S and a Sidewinder V2 with a Castle Creations 10 amp programable BEC installed. Just looking for you opinions on what ESC to run in my rig????

I run the 35t pro motor and FX R in my Honcho. It runs geat. I had a brushless and didn't like the drag brake. Set the drag brake as strong as possible. I run mine on a 3 cell Lipo. You need to install a BEC if using a 3 cell Lipo.

for crawling there is 3 that i think are better then the rest. first is tekin then holmes then novak. that is my opinion some others might feel different. so if you have a novak goat 3 cell i would use that one.

I really like the Tekin FX-R (I have four of them ) It has a good drag brake, and smooth throttle response. The small size is a plus too.

let me be the second to read what you are saying......

both escs are great, I don't have any experience with the goat, but I do with Novak and they make a great product...that being said, I run all my rigs with castle creations...I really like my MM and the Pro, have just started messing around with the new V2, but from what I have run it with I do like it...and I run mine with the same battery you have...3S, 30C and 1300mAh. and I run the tekin 45T brushed with my V2

Been using a V2 with a T35 in my SCX. Once I got the bugs out of the V2 with Castle's help it works well now. The Castle link is the key for getting the most out of the V2 without it programming is a PITA.
