| Amp requirements for integy 35T in a LCC?
I recently picked up a used LCC, came with an integy 35t motor and a couple cheap 1500mah 3s 15c lipos. I'm not a stranger to lipos, but haven't used ones that small before. I didn't really think about it much but I ended up toasting both of them, and afterwards realized that I certainly was drawing too much current from them, the second one puffed up like a balloon, lucky it didn't burst. Anyway i'm looking at picking up a couple new ones from hobbyking. I found a 2200mah 3s 20c that is the largest i could find that will fit. They're sitting on a custom mount on the links. That should be able to provide 44amps continuous I think (2.2 * 20). Is that going to be enough? Can handle 30c bursts which would be 66amps if i'm calculating properly. So I know you're not supposed to just muscle through when you bind up, but when I do get bound up I have no idea what kind of current the 35T is going to be pulling. Also pretty sure it has a 15t pinion in it right now which i'm planning to swap out for a 13. I could use more torque more than I need the current wheel speed to help with the binding. Chris |

your issue is that a 35t motor is not powerfull enough for an lcc. As far as batteries go, I would look into 40-50c batteries. They should put out more power without puffing.

The info i've gathered from the LCC forum here seems to say that the best options are either a 35T brushed motor or an 18.5/21.5 brushless. Hoping to go brushless eventually for the increased runtimes. The issue is that i've never been able to find out how many amps either will require under full load... |

A 35t should be fine in an LCC its low geared enough to put the 35t to good use. I use 2 35 HH hand wind's (just got a second set) on my LCC MOA. Also on this MOA with 2 motors a Novak M2 I use 20c 2200mah batteries all the time they never get hot or puff. Those that the OP is talking about are the same battery's I use. Drive till there dead (lipo cut off), charge and do it again, no issues. ALWAYS BALANCE CHARGE
