Default quick motor versus runtime Q

higher turn motor will net longer run time right? im running a 35T motor on a 5700 2s lipo. i would like to go to a smaller battery,but i still want a decent run time

A lot depends on gearing, but usually, yes, a higher turn brushed motor will run longer on a pack all things remaining the same.

what do you call decent run time?

I run a 35T and a 5000 3S geared to trail and get over 4 hours run time

iv never ran my truck to LVC, start to loose interest around a hour into a run. if i can get at least a hour out of a pack,im happy

if you are looking for around a hour try a pack around 2000-2500mah

i got 2 small mini revo 2s 2200 packs.
iv ran the 2200s around and TT is reduced drastically compared to these big 5700 hard case packs.
my truck is a creeper safari, the battery is mounted up high on these truck
