well i know with my old esc you have to push the trigger full forward tell the light blinks then full reverse tell it blinks basically setting the end points. If yours its like this maby you can hold it full reverse when its setting the forward end point and vise versa just a thought

If I were you, make sure the trim setting for the throttle on you transmitter is set to zero (centered), then enter the setup on the ESC, most typically follow this pattern with lights/beep patterns: neutral ->full throttle -> neutral ->full reverse. Once that is done and good, dial in your trim to your liking.

Also, it's helpful to post what electronics you're running, so we help more accurately.

1-Try swapping the motor wires to reverse motor rotation.......
2-When calibrating an ESC, set the TX throttle trim to "0", throttle EPA's to 100% and then start the calibration.

Yes.....but it'll cost you......

1-You never stated it was a brushless motor.....
2-What motor??
3-Is it a sensored or sensorless motor??

"Usually" (I'm not a BL expert), you need to swap the 2 outer motor wires for sensored, you can swap ANY 2 motor wires for sensorless.

PS, "Spell checking/grammar checking" is provided free of charge.

Looks like it's sensored.....try swapping the 2 outside motor wires. It shouldn't hurt anything, it may allow motor reversal and not have sensor issues.

Have you checked on Novak's website for the systems manual? It may give you some incite as to which wires go where.

Here's a link to that system's manual.

DO NOT SWAP THE MOTOR WIRES!

Sensored systems should have "mode" for reverse rotation. Simply flipping the switch is not really the right way. The Goat and the motors we released with the Goat system, we still our older thinking on the crawl stuff. So the motors were based off of our race motors. This simply means the motor has mechanical foward timing.

So the ESC has a mode (one of the settings) for reverse "rotation". This has the ESC offset for motors timing and run correctly.

Simply flipping the radio's reverse isn't really correct either. I don't like just doing the programning backwards either.

Just do the one touch like normal, then go to the setting and change it.

The manual is on the website, it's a PDF download, and has the walk through. Very strait forward.

If this is all for a Brushed motor, well, just swap the wires on the motor if it's a crawling motor.

Don't forget, you can always just email us directly for tech questions. I check my emails all weekend, stuff like this is easy and usually gets a reply in the evening.

Thanks
Charlie

Do you have a throttle curve in it? Sounds like an exponential curve. It could be in the radio (labeled "expo") or in the ESC.
Re-read the ESC manual and see.
Are you programming through a link or buttons on the ESC?
