Be aware there is a 35t limit on running duals with a Rooster Crawler. To answer your question, yes, a y-harness would be what you need.

i was looking at the rs10 axles so i'm looking for 380 size and brushed or that there are cheap axles that can use 540 motor(novak 55) |

You would be fine with either of those options.

I have a Novak Roster Crawler on my RS10XT. It is wired so the power goes to the rear axle first and then up to the front. Supposedly this helps with Clod stall but I find for the stock 70t motors that taking them off and doing a proper brush break-in helps the most. They do make a 540 kit for the RS axles but the 390 70t stock motors have tons of torque. Last edited by 1320Fastback; 10-09-2011 at 01:02 PM. |

Since you will likely want a "dig" of some sort, wire the ESC to the dig input & then each motor to the dig output. If you want to know more about a dig, search for "servo dig" and/or "punk dig". |
