Hey guys thought i would share this with ya. I just found this. anyone can make thier own electric foam cutter with a 2s lipo and some stainless wire from wallmart fishing department check it out it works great  in the video he cuts hard cell foam but could be used to cut any type of foam home made hot wire cutter - YouTube |

Nice find for others. I've used similar since the late 70's, usually for cutting foam cores for model airplane wings. We used Nichrome wire & an adjustable DC power supply so you could vary the heat.  |
