| What radio to get that has the best options
What's the best radio that has a 3 position switch? What's gonna run a winch without to many mods to the winch? Total noob here. I have tried searching but obviously I'm not searching properly. Thanks for any and all help.

search: GT3b 4PK, or any of the futaba XR4 Airtronics 3 channel radio just make sure its 3 position, meaning..spool out, stop, spool in. If its a 2 position, it will spool out, spool in...and won't stop. Last edited by squatch71; 11-04-2011 at 09:14 PM. Reason: fixed pole to position...ment position, typed pole....=( |

I have the futaba 4pl. Love it. A cheaper option is the hacked fly sky gt3b. Search losi kids gt3b. Sent from my uber smart, smart phone.... |

Well, are you looking to run multiple rigs? Meaning is model memory important? Also what is your price range? The dx3e is a good 3ch on the cheap but it lacks model memory the 4pl is a nice radio but twice as much It really just depends on what you need and how much you are looking to spend. |

Another vote for the flysky FS-GT3B. I would a least give this radio a try. It's only $35 yet has many features only available in higher end radios.

You need any radio with a 3rd channel that has a 3 posistion switch Alll the other stuff is icing on the cake. For instance, as already mentioned, model memory, end point adj on all channels, size, cost,rx costs, expo,# of channels,etc.. It's really up to you to decide what other features are important past the 3 channel 3 pos. transmitter I would suggest a radio that has more stuff than you currently need. It's cheaper in the long run to buy it once and not have to upgrade later. That said, the Futaba 4pl is a great radio for the price and wont be outdated anytime soon. money is the biggest issue. what's the budget? less than $100= flysky gt3b with losikid hack. $100=$125= spektrum dx3c. (what i have) $200 and up= futaba 4pl. this is a small list, but these are probably the best bang for the buck radios out there right now. just remember the flysky is a good buy for the options that losikid can give it, BUT it's still a $35 dollar radio. it will not have the feel, fit, and finish of the other radios i mentioned. i went with the spektrum because i got a great deal on it and it does everything i need. IF i would have had the coin, i would have gone with the futaba 4pl. it truely is a great radio, with unbelieveable feel, fit, and finish Last edited by hoghead5150; 11-02-2011 at 07:41 PM. |

The DX3C is a nicely priced tx. If you have the money go for the 4pl. For me, the dx3c does everything I need and nothing more/less.
