Default 4pl troubles

So I sent my 4pl in for needed update
So I can run dual esc's
Got it back today put the batteries in and nothing no power no lights nothing brand new AA lithium and the batteries got warm - hot
Anybody got a clue
Is there anything I can do
Or do I just ship it back and tell them what happened

Are you sure you put the TX batteries in correctly? Can you try plain old alkalines?

Otherwise, I would guess you need to contact them.

Yupp, tried that checked for damage in battery tray and wires and plug from battery tray double checked polarity everything looks fine but no power and batteries overheating within seconds of switching on somethings very wrong I'll call them Monday

You may want to pop the TX case open & make sure they didn't pinch/short a wire internally when they did the reflash. I would follow the wires from the battery tray up to the boards inside.

So I popped it open and traced the wires and found a lil loose ball of solder wedged between two solder joints causing a short I fix er up all is fine thx for your help

Cool, glad it's fixed.
I still suggest you contact the vendor and let them know (include your serial number of the radio). That way, if it did hurt something, they have a record of it.
Hope all is OK though.
