| DX3 help
Hey Guys, So after some trial and error, I believe I have come to the conclusion that my throttle POT on my DX3 is bad. I have had a problem with the throttle not going to neutral. I have tried another radio and the truck works just fine. Anybody know where I can get a replacement POT? Thanks in advance! |

Ok, You adjusted the TH.TRIM in front of the steering to zero? You went into mode x4, (sub-trim), channel x1,(th), and it was zero? (x=push) All your MIX T is 0%? And still not getting it? What ESC? JC |

Have you recalibrated the esc?

Yes, all at 0%. Yes, mix is at 0% too Correct, still not working properly Castle Mamba Max Yes, tried it with the factory axial radio in my Wraith. I recalibrated it with that radio and works just fine. I have even called horizon to see if they can help. Of coarse you get the typical "it needs to be sent in for us to look at it." I asked him if the POT could have gone whack. He said there is a good chance that is the problem. | |

They aren't that hard to open up and work on. It might just be as simple as finding another TX with same pot and replacing it. I am not sure what values other TX's have in their's, but even swapping it out with another one from another type would/could work. JC |

I have had the case apart to look to see if something broke. It was very easy to get into and I didn't find anything broke. I'm thinking of just calling horizon hobby back and see if they'll just send me the part... |

If you can, when you have it open, try to move the base of the pot. If it moves, you might be able to fix it there too. Might have to loosen the mount a little to do it. JC |

I just sent in a DX3E for repair and it took a few weeks but it's fixed and they didn't charge me. My little girl tripped and fell while holding it and the antenna broke.

| They wanted to charge me $15 an hour plus parts and shipping. I'd rather just fix it on my own if at all possible.

I took the TX all apart in an attempt to adjust the POT. The POT is securely mounted to the trigger assembly. However, there is an adjustment screw. I went lock to lock and then centered it. This seemed to have fixed my problem. Thanks for the help guys! Now I can get back to beating on my Wraith |
