Default Will this combo work?

I have a Castle SV2 esc, a Titan 550 motor, and a 2200 mah 3 cell lipo battery. I have heard that this esc can, and cannot handle a 3 cell on a brushed motor. I can't affford to replace it if it blows. Anyone else running a 3 cell bat with this esc and a brushed motor? Its in a Losi LCC.

Im not trying to bust your balls but ya gotta investigate things like this yourself. It good info you should know.

The SV2 can handle 3S
The Traxxas 550 can wont put up with the power very long.

An important thing to realize is running a proper set up is key to enjoying your RC, so if money is an issue, slow down and save up or see if you can afford to sell ir trade something you don't need ir want.

Personally, I hear good and bad about the SV2.
But again its hearsay.

Good luck and please, spend a little time investigating your resources.

+1.

This.... Castle Creations, Inc. can answer a lot of your questions.

BTW, worm drive rigs eat brushed motors for lunch & dinner (even really good handwounds), brushless is a better way to go.
