Default HPI/Castle ESC's

With HPI coming out with all these re-badged Castle ESCs that are waterproof, that come in many of their RTRs, has anyone checked to see if there is a Drag Brake option?

I've noticed most of the bigger name companies are following Traxxas' lead, and offering waterproof electronics now.

can say about their newest esc but the ones that looked like a sidewinder (their flux) and the one like a mamba max pro (their q-base) do have the dragbrake and every other setting but with just a different name on them and when plugged into a castle link.

The new "waterproof", non-Castle ESCs found in the Bullet (called Flux Reload) seem to be Hobbywing EZrun based, so they should also have a drag brake option but you would have to use a Hobbywing car ESC programming card and not a Castlelnk.
They also have a disclaimer "Not for submersion. See manual for details."

There is no disclaimer on the CC stuff, but the description makes me believe it is not intended to be submerged either.
Its only the Flux Vapor and Flux Vapor Pro that HPI claim to be waterproof.

They also claim the SC-15WP to be waterproof, but I think its a Hong Nor b4222 and not a CC.

Good info, I'm really liking some of HPIs stuff just for this reason...
Now, if I buy a HPI ____ w/CC ESC, I could use the ESC in a Crawler or Scaler, sure as hell better than replacing the ESC right away like with most RTRs! They sure have come along way!

I also see Duratrax is now selling a re-badged sidewinder SCT system...
