| Tower Hobbies Charger
Does anybody know if the Tower Hobbies AC/DC LCD charger charge 8.4v batteries? I looked in the instructions and it doesnt say anything about what voltage it can charge.

Want to give us a link to the charger?? I have to believe the specs (middle of the page) will state what battery chemistry & cell count it will handle. |

For the money I would get something that can do more than ni cd and ni mh. Hobby partz has some chargers that do most rc batteries to date.

| NiCD & NiMH are considered "1.2 VPC" (VPC = volts per cell). So, an 8 cell NiMH = 9.6VDC. That is about a 3S LiPO pack. But the charger is NOT setup for charging LiPO's, so you have a fire just waiting to happen.
