Hey guys i got my tekin 2 yesterday. my question is i cant get reverse to work because i dont have a 70/30 split radio. besides the tq3 from traxxas, what other radios have this feature. i was really hoping to get a stick radio to use with my tr2. i do have a tq3 but i would rather leave it in my emaxx. i really want to use a stick radio for my new clod so any help/info would be apprecaited.

I basically ignored the directions for the 70/30 split and my TR2 works fine with my Futaba 2PL. The 70/30 isn't required to get reverse to work.

i have a older radio with my original clodbuster and the trigger seems like its already at a 70/30 but cant be changed. i cant revers to work at all. i think i will just order a cheap tq3 on ebay with some new crystals. does anyone know the radio shack part number for the 3 way switch i need for the rear steering?i keep getting errors when i try to use the search.

I am not sure on the Tekin,but the novak is a "double pump" to "shift" into reverse.

Oh, and if you got it new, they come setup for 50/50.

your saying the tekin 2 comes as 50/50 cause the manual says set your radio for 70/30 before programming.

Honestly, I can't comment on it too much, but the Novak comes stock in the 50/50 mode. I would assume the Tekin would too, but then again....

I had no reverse when I first installed mine, but it was because the ESC had defaulted to forward only mode. You have to be pretty precise in your setup sequence.
