Question esc,batt,motor

What is a good esc, batt, and motor combo that works good and runs for a long time on a clod?

TR2 or MOPED for the ESC.

Lots of choices for batteries! 3300 Nimh for long run times, 2500 Nimh AA for lighter weight and good run times, 1800 4/5 AA for even lighter weight and more than enough run time for a comp, and these are just 3 types.

LOTS AND LOTS of battery choices. As for motors, the 45, 55, and 65 turn Integy lathe motors are the standard in the industry. 55t is the most common, but try 65t lathes w/ a 7 or 8 cell pack! It's like a turbo diesel!

Good luck!

We've been useing a Super Rooster with 55t motors for awhile with no complaints.

Just looked for another Super Rooster and they are discontinued? Is there another Novak option?

Going to try a Moped in a TLT we are building.

4/5 A's are heavier than AA's. But barely.

And that is why they burst a higher amperage and perform better comparing cell to cell. And of course the change in diameter.
