Default Motor stall problem.

I have a problem with one of my Integy Lathe 55t motors on my Clod stick crawler, it is the on the back and it has lost neary all it's go. It doesn't seem to want to turn will adequate torque until about 1/4 throttle. The front is perfect. I have pulled the motor down and given the comm a good clean, and even replaced the brush end bell just in case that was the problem, but it made no difference. The motor is neutral timed and parallel wired. It has only just happened as well, has got me stumped.

btw, I did a search, and I couldn't really find anything that directly related to this problem.

Cheers, Brad.

I have just swapped the front and rear cans over, but left the brush end bells. ie, took the end bell off motor and swapped for the other motor. and it seems to have resolved the problem. I will see how it goes tomorow.

The previous post worked for about 5 mins then played up again, I may have tracked it down now to a tight bearing in an alloy steering knuckle, not enough room between the circlip and the bearing for the spacer washer, all were in there, but it was really tight and notchy. I have some new bearings to go in as well.

Found the problem today, it turned out to be a colapsed bearing in the rear gearbox that was causing the lockup, also has a problem with a weak brish spring. All fixed and seems to work ok, Will be replacing all bearings thie week.

No worries. Just one of those frustrating problems. Just another thing to check if there is a diff lockup problem.
