Default Hey experts!!!!! Whats your choice of 3 or 4 channel radios???

I have an AX10 and I know eventually im putting on a dig and rear stearing which makes the stock radio obsolete. I also know that the FUTABA 4pks is pretty much top of the line so what are some other brands that are as good with a lot more reasonable price? I dont' have 500 bucks to shell out for a radio right now. Just looking for other options.
Thanks in advance guys. I know you'll lead me in the right direction. Yall aint failed me yet thats for sure.

I'm almost certain a 3PL will do that. The third channel on the 3PL should be a two position switch (dig), and then you get channel mixing for either the steering or throttle (4WS). The instruction manual is available online, someone else can read it and tell me if I misunderstood that.

I had then wondered if I had any mixing capability in my 2PL, but I've found nothing supporting that in the radio's menus. If I needed a third and/or fourth channel, I'd probably stick with the PL line. The 3PM-x sounds like a neat radio, but then I'd have 4 FHSS receivers to replace too. If you don't already have a radio, you could just go one way or the other, though.

Once you go Futaba, you will wonder how you ever lived with anything less than Futaba. I have a 4pk, and a 4PL. For the money the 4PL is probably the best radio out.

As far as versatility and bang for the buck. 4PL will be hard to beat.

If you're in the market for a new radio, skip 3 channel and go straight to 4. And shop around...I got my 4PL for just over $180 shipped.

I dumped my Spektrum DX3R because it was only a 3 channel and picked up a Futaba 4PL (4 channel) and haven't had the slightest of regrets. Great radio!

4PL is the best for the buck hands down. No radio comes closer for that doesn't cost twice as much.

Your forgetting about a hacked flysky gt3b, which is mass amounts of money cheaper, and it'll do everything a 4pl can plus more Only downfall is quality and the limited lcd (abit harder to program, at first. Easy once you know how)
