| what caused the destruction of my servo?
i was driving my txt this morning after stretching the WB out and getting it running again, and the truck was sitting there and all of a sudden started buzzing... and i lost steering... the servo was VERY hot, i took it apart and one of the gears was stripped. but i wasnt even using the truck when it happened... i think my ESC is going bad cuz the truck is getting very jerky recently, would that have anything to do with it? i only ran the truck about 10min in my living room crawling on the stairs... wtf?

Could be bad servo bind, check your EPA's and see if you're binding on links, etc. Also, I suspect that sticky tires and testing on carpet might put some stress on servo, but I could be wrong. (I've stripped servo gears during in-house testing). Check your servo mfr to see if they sell gear set. if your servo motor is still working, and if your servo isn't cheap, might be cheaper to replace the gear set instead of entire servo.
