| Old Axial AE-1 Transmitter Issue
Hey guys, I've got an old Axial AX-10 RTR with the original crap box AE-1 A.M. radio. The transmitter is giving me problems. The throttle trigger is making intermittent contact inside the mechanism causing my speed to jump up and down at will. If I push the trigger to the side as I pull it I can get full speed for a couple of seconds before it falls off again and starts to glitch. I have ordered a Flysky GT3B to replace the OEM tx and rx but do you guys know a quick fix for this? I'd like to be able to fix and keep the stock tx/rx for a back-up. Thanks, Dave |

the flysky has a 10 model memory, just get some extra RX,s then you got some back ups.

Try spraying some elrctronics cleaner up into the trigger hole onto the potentiometer that the trigger works. But chances are the pot case is working itself apart. You may be able to open up the radio case and pinch the pot back together and tighten up the tabs that fold over to hold it together, but it will probably happen again over time. Me personaly, I would just take up OntarioCrawler on that offer tho... Its nice to have a working spare raido for switching out in case a rig starts having issues to chase down what component is causing the problem. | |
