Default Novak Rooster Crawler ESC - Motor Capacitors Needed?

My dad is getting the Novak Rooster brushed ESC. How critical is it to install the 3 motor capacitors? He has a 2.4 Ghz radio. Did try searching but didn't find anything difinitive.

Thanks in advance.

While 2.4ghz radios are more immune to radio noise from the motor, it's still a great idea to use the caps. Most motors today have surface mount caps (little rectangles on PC boards near the brushes) that come pre-installed.
As to the ESC caps, YES, use them. They do more than just kill electrical noise.
