| Common sense mg645 servo
I need to know if anybody has run this servo common sense mg645? an what type of horn are you using? I tryed all of my servo horns aluminum an plastic, found a plastic tower hobbies but instantly stripped it , it has metal gears an seems to have decent torque, did the search forum but came up with nothing, any help out there?

i ran that servo on my crawler for a while until it went through two sets of gears.... just wasn't up to the task. I used a 24T aluminum arm from my local hobby store. IIRC all the HiTec servos have a 24T gear to attach the arm on. Plastic will just strip out as you found out.

Ill give that a try , thanks,this is going on my scaler so not too much binding in tight spots like my comp rigs, the servo was a freebie but didnt have a arm with it, a futaba fit but was plastic an was kinda loose also, Ill give a hitec arm a try tonite.

HAHA who started this thread, correction, me. any way the hitec doesnt fit, but the horn from a tpro servo from hobbyparts does I got two aluminum horns ordered, thanks thats good info for spline counts |

No I was talking about the common sense servo it has the same part# as the hitec, I know whos thread he started,I just had to throw that in there.but the common sense servo mg645 is 25 spline(I counted them last nite) racers edge horns are ordered,Iam good to go now.
