| Programming apps for iPhone and Android os
Does anyone know if someone is making a programming app for Tekin or Castle products to be used with iPhone or Android? Seems logical to be able to program with these "mini-computers" we all use for cell phones these days. Just wondering.... |

Tekin posted something on facebook about it almost a year ago, but still haven't see it available.. Either one would be sweet as I run both.. |

It would be sweet. I`d love to see ESC`s have bluetooth so no more castle link. It`s a pain in my Wraith to hook up,because it takes so much to even get to the darn thing. Imagine bluetooth you just turn it on and make changes |

Who would have thought back in 1985 when I got started in R/C that I would one day want to program a speed control with my iphone let alone drool over the idea of bluetooth enabled ESC's, lol.

problem is a cell phone can't host a device via their usb jack SO they can't program say a tekin or castle esc. Now, bluetooth would allow this. By having a bluetooth programmer it be possible to program esc's via phone. I doubt we'll see a bluetooth enabled esc. Because i think it would require some serious shielding from the esc's main functions AND it make them bigger. Best choice would be to just a a external blue tooth programmer |
