Default ae-2 decasing

was thinking about decasing my ae-2 esc and even going so far as decasing my big ol' spektrum sr300 reciever.

before i get to involved in this, i've seen people just put heat shrink over the esc's after decasing but does this cause the esc to run hotter? really wouldn't want to burn everything down! has anybody decased an ae-2?

I've de-cased my old sr300 with no issues. Just don't strap it down near anything conductive.

I like to bash my comp rig on occasion and haven't even thought of de-casing/de-heatsinking my esc. If I just drove it 5-7 minutes at a time I probably would though...
