Default Mamba max pro

I have a mamba max pro 1/10th powering a brushless sensored redline 13.5t, and when I pull the throttle forward it goes reverse. Can somebody help me?

The swap any two wires is just plain bad advice. That doesn't apply for sensored, only sensorless. If a flip of the throttle channel along with a fresh calibration doesn't get it you'll need to set the motor direction to reverse via Castle Link or manual programming.

+1. Swapping wires "may" work, but not the best bet.

swapping wires with a sensored motor doesn't work, the esc still goes off the sensor to fire the pattern, making that horrible noise. re-program it for reverse motor rotation.

I would highly recommend changing the motor direction in the ESC with a Castle Link. If you simply change the channel direction in the radio settings you may end up having to calibrate the radio to the ESC in reverse also. In other words, when you are supposed to pull full forward throttle durring calibration you will have to push full reverse. To me, thats not a true calibration. But it does work. Im not 100% sure on all this, just trying to help.

when you calibrate the esc in reverse, you're really cutting the esc capability in half. it does work, but you don't get the cheat timing system, and i'm pretty sure that even if you've changed up the throttle curve, it won't apply. its just all around better to properly configure the esc to run the motor in the proper rotation. that and you're going to have to configure the reverse anyway, stock castle settings are at 50% power.

it's straight from the owners manual.

thats because the manual is more about sensorless brushless. on a sensorless brushless motor you can swap any 2 wires to reverse the direction, but on sensored that doesnt work it will revert to sensorless which is useless if u have a sensored motor. to reverse it change the motor direction via the castle link since for the esc to calibrate correctly the gt3b needs the channel reversed.

Thanks guys, went on and downloaded the castle link software, and ended up reversing the motor. Works perfect now. Now I can try out my mmp and my redline 13,5 setup in my new wraith.
