Default Bad digging?

I bought a tekin 35 combo x2 for my xr 10 so i can use a dig. The only thing tho is that when i use dig the rear motor still spins a little instead of completely stopping. Is this due to just a poor motor or can i change some settings on my fxr? Here is a link to my combo... Thanks again for the awesome support.
These are 55's but mine are 35's. This is machine wound correct or hand?

What do you have your drag brake settings at?

Looks like a machine wind.

First thing to do is up your drag brake. If that doesnt help then it would probably be a calibration issue, re calibrate and you should be good to go.

I adjust mine with the Hotwire but I usually run 75% on the rear ESC and 50% on the front. You will just have to mess with it and see what you like.

Set the drag brake to max if you want the strongest dig. But it's really a compromise. Too high a setting can cause the truck to unload once you go off throttle, not enough and the truck can't hold on a incline.

I turned up the drag brake to i think 10 (i hate the led light way) and that helped tremendously. Now the rear wheels dont move at all, pretty sweet since i am not used to it actually working haha. Now i just have to try and up the front but its so hard because of all the wire in the way. Thanks for all the help tho.
