| Bearings for castle 1410 3800
Had a bearing fail on my 3800 and I've been searching for replacement bearings. Only thing I can find is a complete rebuild kit with rotor and everything. I don't need all that just the bearings. Emailed castle and got their automated response but that was a month ago. Any help in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks

A local bearing supply house will have them. Every bearing has a part number on it. Get the bearing size (OD, ID & width) along with the number and go shopping. Thomas Register online can help find a bearing house. |

Guess there is no way to get them from castle? They have the bearings in the complete rebuild kit but thats 50 bucks. Just need the bearings.

you could also always measure the bearing to get what size it is. you maybe could get them from castle if you could get ahold of an actual person. calling them works better than email

I would check out Avid or Boca to see if they handle those. You have to be sure that they are the class of bearing needed. Some bearings aren't rated for the high RPMs those motors can generate.

Yeah I have called them a couple of times but I dont like being put on hold for 20 min lol. Guess thats the way it goes I guess. I will keep trying to call but hey when I do get ahold of them I will be sure to get a part number and let yall know.

From the first link on google: "IIRC, it's 14x5x5. Machine Press fit on the front endbell." Now you use the info in the rest of the thread to find it. hint... Boca Bearing Company :: Ceramic Bearing Specialists |
