Red face BRXL question

Stupid question I'm sure, but I picked up a used brxl several months back and now can't remember if it's a waterproof version or not.

How can I tell?

Poor water on it If it still works, its waterproof.

All kidding aside....probably best to contact Holmes Hobbies and check with them. I think he has changed his waterproofing procedure a couple of times, so checking with them by email is the way to go.

I've had both versions of that esc water proofed.
Back in the day when they first came out they had epoxy covering the top of it to the base of the fins.
The last couple I bought you have to look down into them and see that the boards covered.

meh...it's not waterproof. Dunked it in water like Eddie suggested and now it won't even power up - $80 down the drain

lol - kidding. Took it apart and there's no epoxy on the board.

You could have just looked for shininess down in the hole where that middle white wire would go if it were the Sidewinder.
