Default Maxx brushless systems

Do you guys have a favorite? Anyone had the Mamba Maxx and the HV-Maxx? I'm getting a setup soon. Do I go tried and true Novak or fancy and new Mamba?

I just bought an Mtroniks and it'll make an Emaxx go 50mph, can't wait to put it in my TXT when I finish it!

I have a feigo 8xl and a shultze controller running it. That thing is pure madness. It is harder to not wheelie than it is to wheelie. I can wheelie on command anywhere, soft dirt, hard road. Anywhere at any time.

I guess I should ask what you're using this for? Is it speed or for crawling?

The new Mamba Max (one X) is for 1/10 cars & trucks. The Mamba Monster Max isn't out yet. Although the Mamba will take up to 12 cells, nobody knows what it'll do in a heavy truck like an E-Maxx. You want to be the first?

For now you're probably better off sticking with the Novak. Upgrade to the Robinson slipper and MIP axles.

Well, it's gonna be in a basher e-maxx. How hard would it be to get tech support from them? Other than Novak? I'm partial to the orange crew. That's why I asked. I have an SS4300 with the bearing upgrade. But, it's in my TLT and I didn't wanna put it in a truck 3X the weight it was designed for.

I know for certain you'll blow up an SS by putting it in a Maxx. I've seen it done more than once. While the Mamba system has plenty of power, I don't know if it has THAT much, even geared way down. Getting an E-Maxx started takes a lot of juice, it's a big heavy pig. My guess is the Mamba wouldn't like it any better than the Novak does. Castle's tech support is awesome, as is Novak's, but either one will tell you the truck is too heavy for the motor. I can smell the smoke already.

Oh yeah, I know. I had no intentions of putting it in the MAXX. So, when is this Mamba MAXX supposed to come out? I'm wanting to have my project done within a month. I'm really leaning towards the HV because it's out now.

The Monster Max, not for a while yet. They just wrapped up the 1/10 Max. Give 'em a little time to rest and regroup
