Default Mmp pro limited edition

Has anyone heard of running the 1-6cell MMP Limited Edition ESC in a crawler? You have no choice to run a BEC with it. But my question is to go with either the standard CC bec or would I need the higher amperage BECPro since there is no onboard bec? Thanks!

The 10amp should suffice

+1, a CC 10A BEC is more than enough for most single high torque servo installs.
If running 2 high torque servos, that may be different.

I easily run either a HiTec 7950 or a Futaba BLS157 (?) off a single 10A BEC.

Thanks for the confirmation folks , I was biting my nails waiting to get raked over the coals lol I REALLY did search allot but saw nothing for that ESC specifically(in a crawler application). I thought it might do ok because of the smaller size but sensored. Kind of reminded me of a smaller in size sidewinder but with MMP innards. Minus the bec of course but the Castle internal becs seem to be lacking anyway. So would you guys say that is a decent choice in ESCs?

That ESC was made so that Castle could try to sell more ESCs to the 1/12 scale and WGT racers who are using 1S Lipo packs.

The 1S Mamba is identical to the regular Mamba except it has no BEC and has no internal fan to make a lower profile so it fits under a 1/12 shell. (It still has a large footprint.) You do need either an external BEC or a receiver pack to power the radio and servo.
