LEDs!!!!! quick question
 

so i have a bunch of LEDs wired up in my scx-10, wired straight to the plug on it and i have a switch wired thru the negative so i can turn them on and off no problem, they work fine and there bright ass heck and i have all the right resistors soldered in too, but i have a 6 channel futaba and i wanted to some how make it so i can turn the lights on and off from my transmitor so i can flip them on and off with out touching the truck

so i'm just wondering if theres a switch that i can plug into my receiver to do this

i have 2 10mm white head lights
and 12 5mm ,tail lights, neon lights and rock lights

That's funny. I thought that Heyok could come up with something for this when I first read the thread. Looks like he does "thumbsup". His products work very well and a very nicely made. I run a bunch of his winch controllers in my scalers. Good guy to deal with!

lets say i get one of these does all my LEDs run off my receiver? or straight to the battery

cuz right now i'm running all the lights straight to the battery (3s lipo 12.6v) and i have all the resistors setup for 12.6v
and if i run it off the receiver i'll have to re wire everything to run at 6v???

i have a CC BEC and i futaba R617FS with 7 channels on it, so space and power isnt the issue
right now i have it set up with a dig, winch, turn, throttle and BEC

so i have 2 extra channels to play with and that's why i want to throw a switch in it for the lights

and running all these bells and whistles on my scx-10 aint gunna blow anything up is it?

so with this i can leave my resistors on and every thing and solder my lights to this?

do you make one so i can have 2 things going on
basically like your dual RC switch for leds but the can run like this off a 3s instead of the receiver?

And I will modify it so both outputs run from external power instead of just one. It will only raise the price a little.

I'm assuming that you are using a linear or three position channel for this, not a two position channel.

well i have the futaba T6EX 6 channel. i'm not sure of all the stuff you can do, but if you could do this some how that be awesome!!!

but i have 2 extra channels, i wanted them to both me a 2 pos. channels so i flip the 1st switch on and just the head lights and tail lights come on, then flip on the 2nd switch and that turns on the rock lights

i want it to be so i can either have just my rock lights on or just my head lights or both if i wanted

Using two channels would make it simpler to control.
