| Transmitter Battery Pack
I was wondering if there was a way to hook up a rechargeable battery to a TQ3 so I don't have to keep buying AA. I figure it's possible, I just dont know the input voltage of the TQ3. If anyone can let me know how or the voltage the transmitter needs, I should be able to figure it out.

Can't you just get a pack of rechargable AA's and use them. Seems like the simplest way.

Yeah, just go pickup some 2500mah Energizer rechargeable batterys at Walmart. Like $17-18 I think for 8 cells. Either buy a charger for the AA's or put a charge jack on the transmitter. The cells are are rumored to be made by Sanyo. I have them in all my transmitters. I have also used Harbor freight cells and the cheapo blue ones at Walmart with great success.

Yeah, I was thinking about that, but it would be nice to just hook it up to my quick charger and have it charged in 15 min. Plus I would be able to hook my charger to my truck and charge it on DC if I needed to.

I modded my tq3 to use a charge jack, but unless you put some kind of diode on it you can get power back tru the jack and accidentaly short things which is bad
