| 55t or 65t?
i'm in the process of building a crawler out of my extra revo and am undecided about motor turns. i see alot of people running 55t on their tlt's but with the increase in weight should i use a 65t to compensate? thanks

I think a 55t would push a Revo based crawler just fine. But a 65t would give it a little extra grunt, and you could always step up a cell in your pack to give it a little extra punch.

Depends on the gearing and voltage that you want to use. How many cells you gonna run? What tranny are you going to mate to the axles? 55t is always a safe bet for just about any build. |

To me, the 55t Lathe is the Chevy 350 small block of crawler motors. Dependable, and plenty available. |

Go with a 55t. I run a 55t and I tried running a 65t and the only difference I noticed was the lack of wheel speed with the 65.
