| EVX Questions
I have a evx and am going to do the one bat mod. I am curious if any one has taken the box apart and made the conection inside rather then having those 2 extra wire hanging out for no reason? Also I have heard people talk about using a rx batt pack is this nescessary? and if so you take the red wire out of the plug that plugs into the reciver? I will be using 2 servos one is Airtronics #94357 with 100 oz-in and a Traxxas 2055 with 80 oz-in. Wich servo shouldl I use for the front steer and then rear steer. One last question should I solder the motor wires right to my motors or should I have plugs?

I always solder my motors to the ESC. The bullet connectors are not very efficient. I kept both of the battery leads when I did my mod. I connected three cells to each. Three in the front and three in the back. The ESC is conveniently in the middle.

i always use bullet connectors, if you have to do work on the motors it would be a pain if its always attached to the esc. also what if you want to use the motors in another truck, or if 1 motor dies? bullet connectors might not be the best choice, so use deans connectors most people seem to like them. when i ran my evx with the mod i didnt even need to use a receiver pack, your servos arnt very powerful so try it first without the pack.
