Default 35t lathe+moped=?

would a moped run a 35t lathe in a tlt? if so would be have more torque or more speed? feel free to steer me towards the all mighty search button

Have more torque and speed than what?What are you comparing it to?Im pretty sure the moped can run a 35t lathe.

swamp rat, i'm runnin a 35t lathe motor with a moped esc in my tlt. this combination has torque and wheel speed, but if you plan on running this setup i suggest you get a 12 tooth pinnion and 87 tooth spur, both 48pitch.

well in the trade if he can find it i'll be getting a 35t lathe so i needed to know this, crawlaholic, where will i be able to find the pinion and spur online?

9/10 going to get a pede tranny since theyre more common and arent expensive

Go with a Stealth. You can pick on up just as easy on E-bay. They are stronger, lighter and you can buy a RPM kit to lower the gears in the tranny.
