| Sidewinder heatsink removal
Smashed my sidewinders this weekend and somehow bricked one, thinking I got it too hot soldering the other ESC's power wire to it. It accepts firmware and calibrates fine, but no tones from the motor or drive. Lights flash as per normal. Anyways, reason for this thread. I grabbed a spare Sidewinder I had waterproofed and pulled the plasti-dip off. When I went to smash them again I discovered the heatsink on the one was turned 90 degrees to the other two. So now I need to either remove one heatsink and reattach it turned 90 or remove them both. How do I get them off? How do I reattach them? And are they even needed on a XR with 55t's? Keep in mind I'll eventually want faster motors or 4s, I wouldn't blink to remove them completely with the current setup. |

Did you heat them or something? Tried to pry the bricked one off with no luck.
