| Tekin B1R stuck in Thermal Protection
Hey guys, I have a Tekin B1R that is stuck in thermal protection mode. I ran a self test which came out fine, and other then not turning the motor it seems ok. Basically I broke a front shaft on a Losi MRC which jammed into the spur gear stalling the motor. I let it sit overnight(and even stuck it in the fridge for a little bit) and it still has all of the lights blinking(after the one steady one indicating its ready) to indicate temperature. Nothing got remotely close to hot, I was only running for ~ 2 minutes. This was a fresh build, and this could be an expensive 2 minutes. Any thoughts would be great, and I have emailed Tekin. Just curious as to what some of you guys think and if its even worth sending it in to get it fixed. Thanks Jamison |

if the unit is new Tekin should replace it no questions, just a faulty one you got. I am sure they will accomodate you.

Thanks, I don't expect them to since I bought it about a year ago and just got it installed(technically out of warranty). I will see what they say though.
