Default Capacity for Rx battery

Gonna build myself a 5-cell Rx pack for my basher-tuber-Clod that I'm building. I'm not terribly concerned about the weight, and I'm not fond of BEC's. So, I've been looking at the Energizer NiMH AA or AAA cells at work (Lowe's).

The AA's I'm looking at are 2500mAh (higher than my freakin' main batts!).
The AAA's are 850mAh.

As I said, this is a basher, and it's 2WS (for now, anyway). Servo will be a HiTec 645MG with a Kimbrough.

Soooo.........
Is 850mAh enough Rx batt capacity for backyard and park-bashing, or should I just step-up to the 2500mAh? 8 AA's are actually about $1 cheaper (in the 8-pack) than 8 AAA's (in two 4-packs), so the cost isn't a factor.
