Exclamation summit light bar on a wheely king (stock rx)

hi,

noob here. i just bought the 4 led summit lightbar for my wk basher. when i plug it in to the BAT port on the rx, it lights up nice and bright BUT... it immediately flickers when i touch the throttle or steering. the leds also seem to get brighter when i do this.

is this a power shortage issue?
do i need to get a 3ch rx instead?

im not really sure, but i think the summit leds are 6v, and the bat/aux port should be putting out the same, or am i way off?

the thing is, i also have a separate head/tail light kit that is powered by a 9v battery. is there a way i can combine the two and use the same 9v for power? i dont really have much soldering skills, fyi.

THANKS FOR ANY ANSWERS!
