| 5+ channel radio needed
I'm looking to get a 5-6 channel radio and I wanted some opinions on a decent one. I need throttle, front steer, rear steer, tranny shifter, and a winch channel. I have no clue about multi channel radios past 3ch, so any help is appreciated. I'd like the two sticks and 2 toggle switches if that's possible. Also, I've seen a 6 channel radio and the guy that owned it told me he had problems with "mixing". I understand what it is, but it there any way I can get rid of it? His clod was a ROYAL pain in the farkin ace to drive :-x . Thanks

I would highly recommend the JR 6102 , ground frequency, all centering gimbals. They feel so nice and are pretty easy to program if you need it. If you want another decent radio, the Spektrum 6 channel dealy is good. 2.4ghz so you dont have to mess with crystals. The gimbals, buttons, knobs, and switches dont feel anywhere near as nice as the JR radio. |

DX6. As JRH said before. "I'm not going to be hovering my crawler so I don't need the buttery feel of the other radios" |

Does the DX6 have self centering sticks? If not, can you install some kind of springs to make them center. I'm am thinking about getting a spektrum and didn't know if I should go with the DX3 or DX6. Thanks.

Phew! That's a lot of answers. So, DX6 vs. JR 6102 Thoughts? I don't mind spending some money, but cheaper is always better.

If you dont need the mixing, and it is for crawling, get the dx-6. shorter antenna, no fuss on frequency. You have to specify all centering gimbals when you order.

I got mine from hobbytown as well. I took it apart and modded to center the throttle side, just like JIA did in his dx6 thread. I took a spring from an old radio laying around. Picked up and modded a DX6 |

I'll be ordering one next Saturday. Thanks guys! I didn't even know it had 10 model memory. Does that mean if I buy 9 more recievers, I can get rid of all my other radios?
