Seriously? One dollar difference? That makes it tough. I know a lot of people like the xerun. I had the mini 25A version and there were some things I like about it better than the CC. It seemed to have smoother power delivery, down low for example. I also had great service from Hobbypartz.com. I'd just get the HW. If enough people do, it'll put pressure on CC to up their game. Not that Czc is bad, competition is just good for the consumers. |

I run a 4.5t in my drifter. Pack after pack and no issues with it. Can't go wrong for the money. Can't say anything for cc but everyone I know says its good stuff.

I've had my mmp since they were released (mine was from the very first batch sold) and have never had an issue with it. It's always been run on 3s lipo with a 21.5 and 18.5t motor in my old losi crawler, 2 30t brushed motors in a moa crawler, the stock 12t Titan in my stampede and the last 6 months a 6.5t in my stampede. The xerun is a decent esc but e castle esc with a castle link has much more adjustability Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

The other side of the story, I blew two of them before I said no more...in a crawler. Xerun truly are great ESCs, and I still run them in all my go-fasts...truly fantastic, solid, and smooth. But I do not mess with them in crawlers anymore. I now run the MMP in my crawler and it has been fantastic. IMO, crawling is the MMPs wheelhouse. Never had good success with the MMP in go-fasts. So you know my opinion between the two...in a crawler, Spend the dollar. I have pretty much run them all (Tekin, Xerun, Speedpassion, MMP, and pretty sure others - just no Novak!) My opinion, in a go-fast Xerun is better, in a crawler MMP is better. Last edited by dentonmac; 09-06-2012 at 11:57 AM. | |
