You should be able to get the Punk to lock and unlock your rear axle.

I'm curious about your ESC. I'm wondering if it is okay to connect both motor outputs in parallel. If that were the case, you could run one of my dig controllers and get both front and rear dig from your two position third channel.

Currently running this in my daughters' RS10. Just unsolder one red and one black wire. Run the left over ones into the Punk....

(HACK THAT SHIZZNET!!!) Cheap and way worth it! Or run the Heyok. Either is a great way to go.

you mean the esc output wires? or the wires coming from the dig to the motors? happen to have a pic you could post?

Heyok, wouldn't that double the voltage going into the dig? im running 2s packs. could a dig handle 16.8v from a fresh lipo?

That would be really something if it would double the voltage, but no, it wouldn't work that way. Most likely, there are a pair of output FET devices and each has two red or two black wires on them that you are expected to run to your two motors. The extra pair of wires are put in to make it convenient for you to connect them to the motors.

If you decase it and flip it over you will find only 2 traces for the motor outputs. Each one has 2 wires (1 color) coming from it. Like Heyok said, it's just to make it easier on us for hooking up.
