Mine gets warm too but I don't really worry about it, mainly because I've already had to butcher it up to get it open to re-solder a connection in it. The fan should help with it if you really think it is getting to warm.

I wouldnt worry about it too much if it is just warm. If it actually gets hot where you can barely touch it, then worry about it.

What's your motor/battery setup, and what is your gearing? A low turn motor or more voltage will make it warm up faster, as will tall gearing. But as said already - warm is ok, hot is when you get concerned.

is it warm or is it hot? if you cant hold your finger on it for more then 5 seconds then somethings wrong. if you can comfortably keep your finger on it for more then 5 seconds your running fine. anything that is doing some work will have to get a little warm.
