I just recently got some 2500 Mah NIMH AA cells from Menards. ($9.00/4pk.) I run 2300Mah AA's in all my Transmitters. I like them a lot. GP makes a 2300Mah cell but they want an arm and a leg for 12 of them.

I also got 7 3800Mah NIMH SANYO cells that I got from Batteries PLUS to make a pack out of for one of my trucks. The cells are about the same dia. but 1/2" longer than AA's. I think the size is 4/3 A.

I think there is a safety issue with two packs plugged intogether in parallel.

If one pack had a cell short then the other would dump thru it and get hot.

Not saying I wouldn't do it, but If I did, I'd unplug one if when I stored it in my basement...
