Default micro pro

Can a mamba micro pro 4200 kv used for crawling,does it have a drag brake?

Drag brake, yes. Smooth startup, no. Sensorless inrunner motors are generally unacceptable for crawling. The micro pro paired with a brushed motor and programmed for brushed operation will be alot better setup for crawling.

If you mean the combo esc and motor then, yes and no, yes the micro pro has drag brake , and no the motor is to fast and sensor less

Have the mongoose in 1 chaotic mrc pro,have another pro I want to use brushless(3s),have a good buget.

I believe the Mongoose is a sensored ESC which is why it works for crawling but it is limited to 2S.

I use the Xcelorin (discontinued) with the 18.5T motor and it works great and can handle 3S. See if you can find a used one. Either that or go brushed.
