Default 2s - 3s question

I am thinking of going to 3s from 2s on two of my trucks one is running a mamba max pro and the other two micro side wonders! My question is will both of these esc's take 3s power straight from the battery?

Yes but do consider bec's. It's easier to knock down the voltage from 8.4v to 6v than 12.6v to 6v. The amperage available from the internal bec goes down as the overall voltage goes up.

+1 on maybe adding a BE. I occasionally run one of my scalers on 3S and I do notice that the servo seems a tad slower.
